BOARD CHAIR
Michelle Mahovlich has been an integral part of Anney’s Closet for seven years, serving in multiple roles from donation days to her current positions as Volunteer Coordinator and Donations Coordinator. She has built and nurtured relationships with more than 55 local social service agencies and community organizations that refer clients to Anney’s Closet.
Michelle brings significant governance and leadership experience to the Board. She is in her sixth year as a Board Member and has served as Past Chair and Immediate Past Chair of Engineers and Geoscientists BC, the governing body for more than 44,000 professional engineers and geoscientists in the province. Her non-profit Board experience also includes roles with Rock Solid Foundation (anti-bullying), Juan de Fuca Soccer Club and Lacrosse, and service as an elected Councillor for the District of Highlands, including appointments to the Capital Regional District.
With a 14-year career at the City of Langford, Michelle brings strong community connections that support Anney’s Closet’s partnerships and fundraising efforts.
